They’ll only have themselves to blame if it happens.[/quote]

Messi opens the scoring with his 28th of the season

Follows up with two assists one of them a peach for Fabregas. He’s very good.

Victor Valdes has announced that he will not be renewing his contract with Barcelona. He is out of contract at the end of next season. Presume he will be sold in the summer. While his distribution can be erratic at times and gets the odd rush of blood to the head, he is an excellent shot stopper and has been a very solid keeper for Barca over the past 5 or 6 seasons.

Wonder who they will look to replace him with

I’d have it the other way around - very comfortable playing behind their high defensive line as a sweeper/keeper and good distribution but nowhere the elite goalkeepers in terms of shot stopping.

Reina?

Nah, he already had his chance at Barca and failed

Rumors are that they are interested in De Gea. Man Utd apparently not adverse to the idea either.

I have been impressed with Courtois at Atletico Madrid over the last 18 months. He looks like an excellent keeper in the making, doubt Chelsea would be too keen in selling him though

That seems a more accurate summary of him alright

There were rumours that Barcelona might take that diddy Stekelenburg off our hands, that would be win-win for Roma and me.

Real Sociedad have come from two down to level at home to Barcelona and Pique has been sent off. Interesting last 15-20 minutes in store - Sky Sports 4.

Gol Sociedad in the last minute!

Gooooooollllllllllllllll.

Miles off with that one…he had a better season last year regards saves alright but up to that he has let in some awful howlers…think he is actually very good on the ball…has actually set up a lot of goals by chipping out to alves instead of hoofing a back pass clean up the pitch…

looks like reina is whoring himself out to barca…Barca getting him to make some noise so he looks unhappy at the ´pool and his price drops…usual barca trick…

Malaga-Barca has been a cracker.

Iniesta has just put Barca 3-2 up on the night…scrub that Messi has headed a fourth and they’ll go through after a 2-2 draw in Barcelona last week.

Clásico next week in the next round so.

God I love Sergio Busquets. What an elegant footballer this lad really is

He’s an awful diving, play-acting cunt though.

Meh, doesn’t bother me, although it does colour a lot of peoples opinions of him. He is an excellent footballer though.

Diving and play acting is part & parcel of the game whether we like it or not.

Busquets achievements at the age of 24 are staggering. What a footballer.
