Those games are hard to watch. The first half was annoyingly stop start with the sheer volume of play acting & players rushing at the referee after every tackle/collision to pressure him to give decisions, lengthy VAR checks etc etc. Thought Real got away with a stonewall red card tackle only minutes before a ridiculous VAR penalty award to Atletico shortly afterwards.
Bellingham will appeal his straight red after claiming he said “Fuck off” not “Fuck you” as he turned away from the ref. This lovely lady explains the difference to a bemused Spanish audience.
