That was great stuff
Teams from the Canary Islands have a habit of tripping Real Madrid up to Barcelona’s benefit.
Tenerife famously beat Real Madrid on the final day of both the 91/92 and 92/93 seasons. Madrid led the league going into the final day both times and Barcelona capitalised both times to win it.
While tonight’s result is not of that import, it still makes the title race a one score game, as it were.
Someone fire up a gif of Messi’s goal tonight, please.
Barca back down to earth with a defeat away to Deportivo La Coruna.
Ramos again, can’t stop scoring.
Barca Valencia 2-2 50 mins gone
3-2 Messi
Barca are 3-0 up at home to Sevilla after 35 minutes.
Suarez and Messi x2.
Al Finucane???
Ozzie Gleeson
Barcelona fucking away their chance to make up ground. 1-0 down at Malaga halfway through the second half.
Neymar has just been sent off and presumably will miss the real Madrid game in two weeks’ time.
Ridiculously harsh sending off though.
Barca cheated out of a penalty there. Foul clearly inside the box but ref gives it outside.
2-0 on the counter after 90 minutes. Surely the end of the title race now.
Royalists find a way.isco scores a 90th min winner as Real come from behind to beat Gijon.
Barcelona thrashed Osasuna 7-1 earlier this evening.
Real Madrid have just kicked off away to Deportivo La Coruna with what is by no means a first choice line-up.
But Morata has put them ahead after just a minute.
2-0 to the royalists.
Juan Carlos Valeron, Diego Tristan, Water Pandiani and co. will have their work cut out to come back from this.
Deportivo La Coruna have pulled a goal back after 34 minutes.
