Celtic’s midweek demolition of Hearts proved to be a false dawn. Still a bit of a malaise there. Steve Clarke is doing a very fine job in Ayrshire.
The Dons will fancy their chances of launching a title charge and I think they’ve Celtic at home the weekend after the Bhoys play in St Petersburg.
Owen Coyle’s Staggies were being cut adrift at the bottom so really needed that win today.

Hibs losing the derby 2-1 at Tynecastle tonight ruins their chances of coming second after the 1-1 draw between the Dons and Sevco last night. Sevco took 10/12 points from Aberdeen this season.

As I understand , the top 4 will qualify for Europe assuming Celtic beat Ravenscraig in the Cup final . Failing that the cabbage must get a 6 goal win versus the Teddy Bears to pip them for third place . All of this assuming the Dandies can get a win on the London Road .
