I wouldn’t be surprised to see this incident being investigated by the relevant authorities. Especially the betting patterns on Marc McNulty to be carded.
McGregor is a weirdo. He maintains this aggressive and staunch persona when playing for new/old Rangers. Plenty of keepers clear everything out when coming for a cross for example, but he’s permanently enraged and constantly having snide kicks at people in open play. This will be his second banning this season for amusingly and slyly kicking someone and he’s been lucky to escape other bannings.
My sources tell me that Marc McNulty was looking for be booked for betting purposes.
It’s a wonder Celtic have not been pushing for VAR to be introduced. Much harder to pass off honest mistakes with VAR.
Davis assisted Defoe for today’s winner. Both players coming into form at just the right time.
