Cllr. Jennifer Murnane O’Connor contesting Carlow/Kilkenny on behalf of Fianna Fáil.
Hardly a candidate for the lovely ladies or other assorted threads but inserted by myself as the outstanding punt of the
election. Jennifer is currently 9/2 with PP to win a seat in what is a tricky constituency. 5 seats which has the capacity
to confound the pundits.
I think the Carlow FG runner Deering is fucked. Funchion SF will have her work cut out, fighting Kilkenny city with McGuinness and Phelan being heavy hitters. She’s likely to struggle for transfers this time based on 2011 figures.
It looks a total miasma of a scenario really, the Carlow vote will decide 1 if not 2 seats, but I’m nominating
Murnane O’Connor as a cracking bet at the price and Funchion as a lay…
