Kate looking radiant here arriving at the Dail in a proper Fine Gaelers car. Austerity me bollix, I’m keeping the recovery going here in my lovely, if somewhat untidy BMW 5 series (@carryharry might confirm), says Kate. None of this coming in from Ranelagh on a bike or walking for our Kate, or Lord save us a bus. No I’ve a nice space now in Leinster House and I’m going to use it.

That’s not the best photo of Kate. There’s a hint of oncoming middle age about it. I hope her arduous campaign and caring for three young children are not taking their toll already.
