Lance Armstrong

He is.
Deep down I’d say he’s seething at the way it played out all the same.

Still manages to go ubercunt in his statement

“I’m looking forward to devoting myself to the many great things in my life - my five kids, my wife, my podcast, several exciting writing and film projects, my work as a cancer survivor, and my passion for sports and competition. There is a lot to look forward to.”

No apology then

His podcasts are brilliant. Lance is a great guy.

I’ve no issue with the drugs tbh. He was just a bollox. Indurain, Kelly, Roche, pantani, valve rede.
The world is scattered with them.

No, but he seriously had eyes on POTUS.
That’s not going to happen now.

Can you get to top of any extremely physically demanding sport like cycling without being a bollox. A certain madness, singlemindness, low on agreeableness type to go out every day and destroy yourself.

I think there are plenty of nice people in the peloton. Froome is by all accounts a gent. I think in general anyone who succeeds has a bit of an edge.

Lot of heads of charities and not for profits are bolloxes. Part of reason for scandals that afflict the sector.

Lance is going to run a marathon inside a prison this year. The inmates do laps of the yard. Lance met them for some talk and signed up immediately. A great guy.

Sure wasnt Angela kerins the same

A guy from Askeaton did that in Mountjoy.

Didn’t do much for him, he was caught importing drugs again soon after being released and is now back behind bars for a long stretch.

With the exception of Nadal, the top players in tennis, such as Federer (GOAT), Djokovic and Murray are absolute gentlemen.
