Eamo is yesterday’s yesterday man

Im wonderinv did I ever hear him finish with a ‘Brian O’Driscoll’ for emphasis?

Kolo and Yaya Toure whose arses he used ridicule are both up for the Wigan job Ive just seen, time moves quick.

Jerry Kiernan another wonderful, fluid pundit. God rest him. Youd get the sense these lads would make a gillion dollars today but I don’t know would that kind of brilliance extend over a podcast.

Van Barneveld has a new fiancee and a hair transplant, which he is shaving off?

Kevin Sinfield is some man

Like John Oxx, the absolute best but shit has moved on. Ya actually now. have to train two year olds

This is the world Roy Curtis is consciously trying to recreate a version of.

1989, Con Houlihan holding court in Mulligan’s on a Monday morning, Irish Press journalists falling around half pissed in the White Horse on a Tuesday afternoon, a clatter of political journalists led by Vincent Browne telling stories about Charles Haughey on a Thursday evening in Doheny and Nesbitts, Eamon Dunphy going large in a Leeson Street wine bar on a Saturday night, Roddy Doyle laughing at the Ayatollah Khomeini’s death in Toner’s on a sunny Sunday afternoon after Ireland had beaten Hungary 2-0.

When Dublin was Dublin and men were men and women were women and the drinking and the smoking and the words and the everything else was hard.

He definitely started with “the Brian O’Driscolls”.

Clough didn’t give a fuck about Notts Forest…or Derby for that matter. If he did, he wouldn’t have managed both.

Ye can romantisise about him all you want but all Clough cared about was the Clough family and where his next drink was coming from.

do you give a fuck about your employer?

In my childhood Cloughie brought us to the promised land, he wouldn’t have managed us for 18 years if it was all about :moneybag:. My endearing childhood memory at the age of 6 is John Robertson scoring with his right foot against Hamburg to win us our second European Cup in Madrid in 1980, magical days and 42 years later I’m still a supporter not as fanatic as @Gary_Birtles_Lovechi and @Lazarus but Forest are my club

That’s all well and good mate but @Gary_Birtles_Lovechi can correct me if I’m wrong but his memories of those days are from reading books and watching videos.

Martin O 'Neill is a Notts Forest legend who went on to manage your country at a major championship.

Any Notts Forest fan from Ireland who has more respect for Clough than O’Neill are just weirdos imo.

I know Notts is a sore point for Forest fans from Nottingham but I don’t think that applies here

Clough’s contribution to Notts Forest is far greater than that of O’Neill’s.

There was a young lady on it last night who has gotten the lead part in remake of Matilda which is probably going to be a massive blockbuster. A star in the making she was brilliant
