I donāt know of a reason why Tubridy wouldnāt have allowed him on but Iāll take your word for it
No 1. Tubridy knows sweet FA about sport. Thats a given. Any sports person he interviewed was fairly cringe.
No 2. McClean would have been seen as a loose cannon. Tubridy always wanted to avoid controversy.
