League Cup Final ๐Ÿ† Celtic v St Mirren

As you know you are comparing apples and a pollock

Other than the fact that the USA is a continent and the concentration of football teams in Scotland is mostly within an hour of Edinburgh/Glasgow

The great football and indeed sporting cultures tend to be concentrated geographically.

Thereโ€™s no proper local rivalry in MLS. Itโ€™s not a real football culture because all the clubs are newly formed, geographically spread franchises.

Mate itโ€™s ok to state that I am correct in that the travel involved in US soccer and sport in general makes it both demanding and environmentally unsound

Is the League of Scotland a serious league? Two clubs have won it 110 times between them, 55 each and last time anyone other than those two won it was 41 years ago. The rest have a combined total of just 19 league wins between them.

Itโ€™s not a serious league but Scotland is a serious football culture with two of the biggest clubs on earth.

Same as could be said for several other countries in Europe like Holland and Portugal, maybe Belgium and some of the former Iron Curtain countries.
