League of Ireland 2009
do Rovers have to give an allocation to away fans- people were asking that on the ultras site

hopefully the game can be put back till june now anyway
As in Rovers fans donā€™t want any away fans in the ground? Christ thatā€™s a new one.

Fook Wexford Youths. I still havenā€™t forgiven them for knocking us out of the quarter finals of the youths inter divisonal competition. There keeper hauled me down outside the box when I was clean through on goals and only got a yellow card for it. They scored a poxy goal to win it in the end. W@nkers.

Thatā€™s nice

i trust they will prioritise Rovers fans ahead of gypos

Thereā€™s a difference?

Now that I think of it, it was actually Kevin Doyle who scored the goal as well. If it was me that had got the goal I would be playing international soccer now. All cause of the fooking keeper and shit ref.

id say youd have missed it runt

Not a hope. Clean through. I was a lethal finisher. Visions of ferraris, spit roasts and training ground bust ups were flashing before my eyes until the keeper pulled me down.

the spit roasting is killing you id say, you were so close to it ā€¦tantalising close!

Runt, I was in goal for the Desmond league and there is no way you would have finished it like Doyle you`re more a toe poke man ha ha

You made a hero out of Doyle. Fooker.

It was a savage finish, if I remember my quote on that day i think it was ā€œMark my words that fella will play for Ireland one dayā€

TFK exclusive?

What year was this Runt? Was Eric Bradley playing for Wexford youths?

It was 2000 Fran, and Bradley was playing midfield I believe

I think the youths won it that year. Eoin Quigley and Darren Stamp would have been on the team too, with at least one (and possibly more) TFK members in the squad too. 'Mon the fooking youths.

I will stab whoever it is.

Wexford youths had a really decent team that year. I remember playing a challange against them for the Waterford district league but I never knew that Doyle was playing.

There seems to be plenty goalkeepers around here with yourself, pukey, bandage and myself.

Eoin Quigley played with the Big Club for s short spell around then I think. I think I might have went to UCD with him as well. Did he play hurling?

Ya they were good in fairness. We had a decent team ourselves. That early goal would have made all the difference (Iā€™m not bitter honest!!)

Iā€™m proud to say that we got a draw out of that game so. We lost John Oā€™ Shea to Man United at an early stage in the campaign however. He just couldnā€™t resist the lure of a bigger club.
