It’s a minimum because the HPat has a lot of weight as well
You wouldn’t have a hope in hell of getting in without 580 or more

HPAT is worth 300 points, but I think the average a med student gets is in around 150. you add that to your LC score, but hopper told me it’s more complicated again in that leaving aside the HPAT score for now, once you get over 540 points or somesuch you only get 5 points for every 20 or something. It sounded complicated anyway.
You need about 635, but it’s 735 for trinity I think (I only know this because I was looking up engineering scores for trinity) so for there it may just be your LC plus your HPAT.
