Lebron James

Thought the journalist didn’t come out of it awfully well to be honest. Lebron is big business, of course nike are going to protect their asset, especially when they invited the journalist in and paid his way.

Incidentally Lebrons 2nd ‘decision’ is due shortly, signs seem to be pointing to a sensational return to Cleveland.

Would that be a heart over wallet move? Not that he’d need the cash or anything. Or is it just a guilt/PR thing

Possibly but it’ll be worth big money to him too. Saying that he actually took a pay cut to go to Miami (where he could still stay, it seems to be them of the Cav’s) so its not always simply money, of which he has plenty anyway. For Lebron its now about legacy, wherever it may be, and it could easily be Cleveland who are building smartly there.

I wish the fuck he’d hurry up and announce it. He’s totally taken over my twitter feed the last few days.

Looks like Dwayne Wade flew with LBJ from Las Vegas to Miami last night in a last ditch attempt to convince him to stay in Miami for one more year. Personally I’d like to see him return to Cleveland.

What would be the general perception of Lebron now lads? I know there isn’t much loyalty in professional sport now but is he just seen as a complete mercenary? Is he just doing it for the cash?

I know nothing about this but would have thought this move back to the Cavs wasn’t about cash. It’s a funny sports world where he joins a team, wins two championships and is slaughtered for it in lots of places and then moves home and still can’t please everyone. You’d swear he was the first player to move away from his hometown team.

Cavs have a young talented team. Le Bron wants to win Championships and the Cavs with Le Bron will contend strongly for next few years.

Success forgives all. Am hearing Ray Allen may follow him, delighted for the Cav’s and Lebron if they pull this off.

Sure he could have been talking about anything.

It’s basketball, who gives a fuck anyway?

TFK broke the story back in Jan 14:clap:

Following on from my breaking the Lebron trade way back in January I can now exclusively reveal that he will be joined in Cleveland by Minnesota hotshot Kevin Love with the Wolves picking up Cav’s no 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggens in return. It’s a bit of a risk trading Wiggens but the Cavs(no doubt with plenty of advice from LBJ) have gone for the proven over the potential and now with Lebron, Love, Irving and Varajeo, Cavs are possessed of a genuine superstar line-up all of a sudden. Wouldn’t surprise me to see them go off Favouritess for next years Championship

Despite being 11 point favourites Lebron and his new and vastly improved band of merry Cavaliers trail the Knicks by 9 with 5 left in the 4th

Derek Fisher is head coach of the Knicks :o

:D:oops:

You clearly missed the gist of what I was saying
