RIP Glen Hoddle ---- what was he doing at Leicester ?
Any reason why it came down?
The Slavic bird was also a pilot
A combination of engine failure and gravity.
Thatâd do it alrighr
Great days

Fuck, that blow of smoke. Unusual to see it veering Forward like that too on take off.
Came down fair quick.
In hindsight it does appear a bit of a giveaway
Bit of black smoke is never too bad, tis the white smoke is the trouble maker.
Youâre lucky the snowflakes done away with blasphemy/
Pretty clear tail rotor failure there.
I asked a helicopter pilot friend about this vid:
hadnt seen that yet. wouldnt mind to unsee it. no warning signs pre take off. little puff of smoke like that would be regular enough, not always. anyway it will be a fail in the tail rotor or the transmission between tail and main rotors, not engine related. awful scenario. twin engine heli with experienced pilots can survive almost any failure without serious damage or injury except this exact one which happens once in a blue moon. tail rotor failure in a high hover where the only escape is use forward speed which he obviously didnt have yet
Will ye stay out of those helicopters.
Great days? A fucking timeshare in a status symbol. âcan we have the helicopter please?â. No, sorry but some other bunch of insecure halfwits are using the penis substitute today.
The laugh of it is some needy inadequate small men trying to be big men are still blowing about it ten years after they had their arses handed to them on a plate.
âwe had a timeshare in a helicopterâ⌠and hookersâŚ
What model was the chopper.
Fireball.
Mate some people needed to be able to get from a to b. They couldnât afford to be sitting in traffic for hours on end. Time is money.
I was only in a helicopter once. We got chopper from malahide to Waterville to play golf. The country was awash with money.
