The last Wexford-Kilkenny Leinster Final in 2008 signaled the beginning of the end of John Meyler’s reign. I think Rossi decided he had a sore groin on the morning of the game and withdrew, and James Tonks was drafted in. Without googling it, I think we conceded 5-21. We restored pride by going down narrowly to Waterford in the quarter final in Thurles in a game we went ahead in early and possibly could have won. But Colm Bonnar was in situ for 2009.
If Cork lose tomorrow and end up on 4 points with Clare (and possibly Limerick as well), they should all be booted out to let Galway back in.
The natural order of things has been restored
