Jaysus there’d be Cork men dead after some of them hits
Hello, I dont watch a lot of hurling until the later rounds of the Championship. Yesterday was all about Monaghan for me and buying a new bicycle. Can any of the more knowledgeable hurling posters please explain what happened in Dublin vs Galway? I remember Julio in the betting thread saying that Galway -8 was great value and Galway would beat them a point a man. Did Galway deliberately play it slow to conserve energy or not show their hand? Were Dublin just class? Do Dublin have a realistic chance against Kilkenny?

They’re not wrong
In fairness to Davy, he has been involved in so many teams he is doing well to know the starting teams names without having to know the name of three or four subs.
Galway were Galway. Heads weren’t in the game from the start, it started to get away from them, and they were a few points down before it dawned on them that Dublin are a serious, tough, ultra fit and commited team, and Dublin were shooting the lights out.
I think kk are a very good side, but I’d give Dublin a decent chance. Dublin are still being underestimated. The one thing is, no Cody team will ever ever do what Galway did yesterday.
Kk I’d expect to win alright, but they’ll have to fight for it (it’s Cody’s kk so that’s a given).
This was an odd post
Looks like it had the desired effect
Dubs have a right chance if they run at Kilkenny
It was actually quite reminiscent of a chance ROC had against Kilkenny in the drawn round robin match in Wexford Park back in 2019. Murphy came out quickly that day too and appeared to slide tackle O’ Connor. That may have been in his thinking when he tried to get the shot away one handed.
