Leinster Senior hurling championship 2022

Thanks. Yes, I copped that aspect as well and was surprised by it.

Has anyone ever seen him take a free or a sideline?

Well done to Galway. I think, over the whole game, they were the better team.

Ɖanna Murphy was dreadful for John Donnelly goal. Referee should likely have blown, time being up, when puckout was taken. But it was a free, no question.

Colm Lyons, though, is a right little weasel.

In fairness to the time up part, it would have been anticlimactic not to allow the pucout. It was a 50:50 as to which side would have a chance of the winning score.
I thought it looked a free, as you canā€™t take ā€œman, ball and allā€ as was repeatedly suggested in TSG.
I thought it a smashing game, which had everything.
Kk are an admirable side.
100% effort whistle to whistle. It was great to get the win.
I still think kk will give anyone a game, including the green giants.
Dublin will have a big say in this yet.

Kilkenny are the team best set up to trouble Limerick.

Absolutely. No one else will get near Limerick.

How so? Iā€™ve not seen them either of their games yet.

@kilkenny posters, was Shefflin asked to join the kk backroom team or something, or one of the underage setups? Is that why Cody is sour?

Cody is always sour. Because heā€™s a sour cunt.

Do Limerick fear Kilkenny?

Kk v Wex in the leinster u20 final, to be played next Monday. Does anyone know the venue?

Iā€™m sure someone does yes.

No. We respect them.

On the other hand you could start drawing formlines which would suggest that Galway are about as good as Wexford, who in turn are marginally worse than Dublin and Galway are a little bit better than Kilkenny. You could conclude that none of them are much use.

Emm, ok.

Iā€™m gonna hazard a guess at one of Carlow, Tullamore or Portlaoise.

Kilkenny and Wexford have a home and away arrangement, id be surprised if thats gone and played at a neutral venue. I guess we will hear later when gaa confirm the fixture.

Another curious one is Fintan Burke, who is righthanded but hurls lhot, taking sidelines off his left side and frees off his right side.

Has there been a rule change that made Paddy Deeganā€™s interception with the hurl at the end a free?

His hurl hits the pucked out ball first so thatā€™s not a free, obviously.

Hence the squad, training with better players will bring him on tonnes and aid his development. He on a par with Lee and Collins is one of Cappys better players.

Obviously

Galway deserved the win, absolutely.

Wasnā€™t a free at the end, though. He came from the side and got to the ball first. That bit is inarguable from the Sunday Game evening footage.
