Whelo trying too hard. Just needs to lay it off occasionally but he’s trying to head straight for goal every time he gets the ball.

Great skill level and make the odd highlight play but is never a consistent threat and often well beaten by his man over 70 minutes.

That would have been huge for Wexford.
McDonald wastes some amount of goal chances. The one against Dublin came back to bite them when they were going well. That might do the same. Best I’ve seen Wexford play in a few years.
Playing his 100th game tonight. 100% right too. A seriously talented hurler, terribly inconsistent and rare to get a good 70 mins out of him. Should have buried that chance

Dublin are really going to struggle for scores against the wind. Our FF line offering nothing. Most of our scores came from distance. Poor game overall. Very scrappy
Default approach for a shot on goal should always be to hit it into the ground. Awful waste of a great chance.
Breeze picking up here too. I’m generally a take the breeze in the first half man but realistically Galway will have to not try a leg in the second half for Dublin to win this, which is possible given it could eliminate Kilkenny.
