Donāt post them, Iām grounded until tomorrow. May survive with efforts from the fridge.
I canāt see the picture mate.
You need to click the blank area and itāll pop up.
I am not that old thankfully Massey.
A great picture. @anon67715551 will be along no doubt with his comments, no more so on the man presenting the cheque (RIP) who I have to say was an alright sort.
He may also comment on the receiver whoā¦ hmmm.
3 observationsā¦
A. A thoroughly alright sort, the light of heaven to him.
B. Hmmmm indeed. The gruaig nearly fooled me.
C. YĆØ have a tricky enough one the weekend but yeāre the team in form.
Weāre out aginā Kinlough. Tricky but a win gives us mighty impetus going forward.
Aughavas should be ok for us. Beating Ballinaglera was a great win - not just for football reasons. Hateful shower.
Sure ye have Ryan back now - ye are going to capture that elusive senior title!
Weād be more focused on staying up for this year or two. If we manage to survive till 2021 weāll have a rattle off it then. While we have a couple of tried and trusted lads (DW, the OāRās) weāre truthfully young, light and inexperienced.
Something for the future hopefully.
Thinking back that was some team you had back around the late 90s with the heartbreaking goal to Manor in the final in 1999.
The likes of Ray Greenan was a lovely footballer.
What year did ye play Carrick in the final after that? Ye beat Allen Gaels in the semi. Killian McLoughlin at a good age then had a stormer on Adrian Cullen. Then Carrick threw in the nippy Paul McGreevy on Killian in the final and he wasnāt able for him at all.
- Weād gone over the hill slightly by then and weāre actually in decline. Some great lads in that era, the McLoughlins, the 2 Guckian, 3 Flynns, Ray Freeman - all sound men.
Killian is still kicking Junior A at Iād estimate 54/55. He puts a lot of effort into underage along with his brother TP. Gas men.
As they say at home - rare ones.
Grrrrrrrrā¦
Not good enough on the evening. We seem to have resigned ourselves to our fate early doors and for once we seemed to lack bite. These Kinlough lads arenāt that heroic when the opposition are prepared to go to the death but weād retained status and looked like we went through the motions thereafter. This was vehemently denied in the post-mortem.
I had an interesting chance meeting and 2 sociables with another veteran. Heās concerned about the activities of a daughter-in-law. A sad tale. I told him Iād seek opinions /advice from āreliable sourcesā (TFK) and get in touch.
I might assemble what data I garnered and seek councel tomorrow. Iām digesting the facts as presented to me and wondering what I would do in the situation.
