What lads?

Few lads I know in Eire Og.

Another huge result for Manor tonight.Connacht Final awaites.

RIP PJ Carroll. He had some record.I don’t think 94 would have happened without him.

I heard that earlier. I recall the days when he was in charge. Great buzz around - very much missed now,

I was in secondary school at the time with a bunch of Yahoo’s from the Blac/Dowra areas. They used to take great pride in reminding us that Carroll was a Cavan man.

@Massey

Not a good result for the Manor ladies in Connacht.

Although the minor lads put up a good show against the Galway champions.

All the county ladies were on holiday in NY last weekend.A terrible result to be fair.Although they’re not All Ireland champions for nothing

The 3rd game in 7 days didn’t help us.We played Friday Tuesday and Friday.Oranmore only played Tuesday and Friday. We were gassed in the second half apparently. But we did ourselves proud tbf.

No luck for the Bors either

not great timing from the LGFA there but one feels they would not have fared much better, would mohill against the top clubs in ireland? maybe a little due to levels of conditioning/ defensive setup but probably not, the girls earned that holiday.

Ah sure they bate us well last year even with a full team.Theyre not AI champions for nothing.

We’ll see how Mohill go the weekend against Pearse’s.Hopefully they put up a good show.

They should hopefully fare better than our other representatives.
I heard the new man has organized collective training sessions for the county panel already, anyone heard anything of new faces/ drop offs?

Boxty was telling me Pearce Dolan and Plunkett are definitely gone.Dolan will be a huge loss at MF.

Padraig Pearses are a very strong team,I watched them last week agin Corofin.Youd hope playing in Ballinamore might help a small bit.But it would be a major shock if we were to beat them.Id be hoping they are competitive at the very least.

They put up a very good show against Brigids last year and Castlebar another year.

I can’t bring myself to support them in Leitrim but I’m fully behind them in Connacht.

Best we can hope for is another good showing against Pearses but not a hope of winning.

I’m really disappointed that we didn’t go for O’Hara. Surely he was the man for the job. Unless it came down to money.
