Leitrim Gaa 2025

Poacher coming up on Rte radio 1 now

What did he say?

I only took the job late in the year…… blah blah blah

Yeah basically and threw in a few buzzwords player welfare etc etc. Also blamed losing the U20s as if they didn’t know that for months.

The U20s might be a priority for the future but nothing to say that they couldn’t line out tomorrow and Friday surely? Is Poacher over that panel as well?

It’s actually Wednesday evening they’re playing

The U-20 match afaik is Wednesday and I think Barry McWeeney who knows a bit about football is over them.
It’s all a matter eitherways as the the C/B have conceded the fixture bringing shame and opprobrium in equal measure.
Irrespective of this oul’ small pick poormouth guff there are surely 26 lads within the county who could fill a jersey rather than foal in this fashion.
It’s shameful, that’s the long and short of it.

The only question now is whether they merge with Sligo or Longford

The great Pat gilroy was slaughtered for suggesting all this years ago on the Sunday game . Perennial no hopers like Laois should merge with surrounding weaker counties to form one team .

They’re already amalgamated with Longford for the Masters, it’s a simple job just go in with them entirely

Bring Longford into Connacht and make one less in Leinster. Makes perfect sense really. Longford get a coastline too.

Shannon Gaels or something

I think we have it solved here. What’s next?

Does Laois touch Louth per chance ? They could amalgamate in the hurling

On that subject when that cunt Graham jumped ship I advocated for Dessie Dolan Jnr for the position given that he was:
A) Free and available.
B) Was seen to be moderately successful.
C) Had inter-county Management experience.
D) Would be popular given Snr’s level of standing in the county.

Instead ‘the executive’ (aka a collective name for stooks) went for this half-assed blackguard with his passive/aggressive attitude. That hasn’t gone so well. No doubt it’s a debacle of giant proportions but look :eyes:
we’re all still alive and the good times are only around the corner.
