Bronze will have to do for young Glancy.
A busy young lady and a great role model for all the youngsters in the club

Those Manor kids are mad for the fightinâ. Youâd want to avoid them when they get older.![]()
Covid drove your man mad it seemsâŚ
Wish it wasnât behind a paywall so I could find out the context behind it. Some young lad from gorvagh got done for something similar a few months ago. Ya hear about all these oddballs in places like USA only to to find out theyâre in your own communities.
That was shocking what went on there.
Theres ben 2 cases in the manor area over the last couple of years involving 2 different fellas stalking 2 different women. One fella is a know oddball while the other is a married man with young kids.Awful carry on for the women involved. I think its even much worse when its in a rural area as these two women were living out in the countryside.
@Bandage ya still got the subscription?
Thank you kindly. The last clearly has issues.
Have never heard of him, he a son of the fella that retired after about 100 years in the same place? If so I doubt the Observer will be carrying the story.
A next door neighbour of mine passed away yesterday.
Well when I say next door neighbour I mean closest neighbour - still about half a mile away.
He was in his late 80âs, lost his wife two years ago so was happy to go.
He was a very unassuming man. Cattle and sheep farmer. A character too,
One day I noticed a dog at the house which wasnât his.
âAh thatâs McGahernâs dog. Wicked cunt of a thingâ
Turns out he was talking about one of the most respected Irish writers of the last hundred years.
The famous writer probably persuaded your late neighbour to mind the dog for the mere 3 or 4 months over the winter while he toured North America lecturing and collecting plenty of dollars. He invariably had a neighbour of ours looking after the sheep and cattle. Heâd then âpresentâ him with a bottle of Jemmy procured no doubt duty free. The word parsimonious was invented for him. Anyway my condolences. He was a grand quiet man the Lord be good to him.
Is she still running @Chancer ?
The Sitka Spruce mafia on Ear to the Ground now @Massey
