Some crowd coming into Dublin airport both yesterday and today in order to watch this golf. From my lofty position as first assistant to the deputy manager at the Hertz car rental desk (cc @backinatracksuit) I have never seen the likes of it.

Portmarnock is a men only club, there would be outrageous scenes if they looked for it and got it as it would drive the usual suspects absolutely demented. Probably wont happen in the current envirnonment.

I’ve often heard it said from knowledgeable golf men , that if he sorted his fitness out he’d be a much better golfer than McIlroy.

Even the mirror and star refer to it as soccer — it’s clear what @Cicero_Dandi likes to read up on the forkflift anyway.
