The Davy Tweed defence
I’m going with a courtroom prediction double of a victory for Horizon and a not guilty for Dwyer in the other high profile case.
I suspect an out of court settlement for this.
Didn’t realise housewives favourite G-Mac left the happy Horizon group last August also.
Rory McIlrory has already offered €10 Million which Ridge has turned down. A ballsy enough approach.
His claims seem flimsy enough before they go into details. Interesting to see what defence he uses in court. Bu the sounds of things, the deal he had was fairly standad and he just decided to leave them. This will cost him a few quid I’d say.
Basically his defence seems to be that he was stupid to sign it so they should let him off. He should have settled this ages ago the greedy gormless eejit
Deferred for a second time, McIlpube must be fucking shitting it.
One that is about to pay off apparently.
He’s fully entitled to every penny he is due as it was a perfectly valid contract. So why settle for less?
Money for jam.
Your man is sorted and may as well shut down the business. Have they anyone left on their books?
Lawyers won’t want to risk it unravelling before a judge so will settle (also ensures payment). 20m but we will never know as terms will be confidential

Big Shane Lowry is their main man now.

fuck sake…talk about having the winning lotto ticket!!..Mcillroys earnings must be miles ahead of other golfers… your man can retire while other
companies will need a whole host of golfers to make it big to come near that type of money …what a play !
G Mac was a shareholder in horizon. A fact that was apparently unknown to McIlroy when he signed up, on the strong recommendation of his good friend G Mac. Not sure I buy it. Caveat emptor and all that
He was told he was on same terms as G Mac. Which was untrue. When he found out he reared up. Ridiculous argument if you ask me.
Was a v thorough article in Times business section few weeks back.
Horizon had a lad working for them as Rory’s PA. He was feeding Rory lot of info on the QT. He now works for the company representing Rory.

Lowry and Ross Fisher only two I could think of off top of head.

Lawyers could probably retire as well with the fees they’ll get on this.
Out of court it is. McIlpube gets his ass handed to him.
Huzzah
What I didn’t like was the way it was being reported in the media that Horizon were counter-suing McIllroy, surely it was the other way around?
