Let's *try* something a little different

I’m going to enable a slightly different look and feel to the site in a few minutes.

It’s a material design theme for TFK.

At the moment there’s no real way to have different skins/themes available for different users so apologies if you don’t like the design.

I’ll leave it around for the weekend probably and then we’ll have one of our polls to decide whether we want to stick with the old or go with this new one.

I’m fully aware that we had a recent poll on possible design changes where Material Design came in third place in a 3-way poll. However, the theme has been improved a bit since and it’s a bit cleaner. Anyway it would be good to get feedback after using it in anger for a day or so.

Let me know your positive and negative comments anyway but we won’t stick with this unless it’s popular with either an outright majority or with a majority of my bessiers.

@Rocko, the new interface fucks up when quoting. If there are multiple lines with spacing in the quoted text, it ignores the text in the top line. See above - it stripped out the first part of your original post. This is on Windows 10 btw.

Iv used on Android phone and a PC today and noticed absolutely no difference whatsoever

I can vote but I really have no opinion, it’s the same thing, I’m sure most feel that way.

The change is very subtle mate, makes no difference really being honest.
