Peter Caseys cruciate is a big blow. Very unfortunate for the fella in the form of his life.

I never thought Casey would get as good as he is, he strikes me as a fella who worked extremely hard to get to this level. I think it’ll take him a long time to get back close to where he was
Peter Casey was always expected to potentially get to the level that he is at. Genuinely, I’m not joking saying that. I saw him play with Na Piarsaighs 2nd team in 2014 when he was 16 and he was absolutely outstanding.
He’ll be back. His brother Mike has been through it. Be no fear of him that way.

A pal was telling me how he was coaching under 16s or 18s Caherdavin soccer team. They were short numbers and one of lads said he’d being Peter.
They had 8 men and beat mungret 3-2 in ET and pretty much all down to Casey he said.
I’d say he’d be an exceptional talent at any sport.

He is playing off 7 in Shannon. I would imagine when he has more time he will get down to 2 or 3. Played a few holes with him and a super ball striker in golf also.
