Limerick GAA 2022 - Dual Kings (Part 1)

Nash is now firmly a back and so is a good candidate to be converted back into a forward.

Nash to centre forward. Mike Casey to full forward

Mull might not be a starter next year but would be some addition off the bench

Exactly.

Drove through Patrickswell there, they have a great sign up with their 5 players after the match on Sunday with #club across it. Fantastic to see

Richie actually played with the intermediates, managed by John Kiely, in 2010.

Mul put in a great opening 20 mins. His pressure forced a poor clearance and a sideline that we scored from both and he also pressured a Waterford player to shoot wide. Got no ball into him at all and faded second half but his battling is immense.

The intermediates put up a great showing that day below in PUC

Lost by a point in extra-time and were victims of the old double-yellow rule. Cork had a man sent off in normal time, whom they replaced for ET. Mike Noonan carried a yellow into extra time and was walked barely a minute into it.

That rule has been tidied up since.

Bill Cooper was on the Cork panel the same intermediate game

2 cult heroes came out of the one intermediate match

Trying to remember who else lined out for Limerick that day, Liam Costello, Donie Reale, Denny Ahern, Tommy Quaid, Pa Begley, Niall Maher were all there, I think.

Aaron Murphy was in goals was he? Nickies cousin or younger brother tommy quaid was good

Tommy quid and peter Harty played.

Just finished watching the first halfā€¦ Kyle Hayes was just phenomenal. Power, pace, strengthā€¦head up looking for the pass from the offā€¦ unreal.

He was. Tommy is Nickieā€™s older brother.

My recollection is shit to be honest. Iā€™d have to root out the programme

Tommie o brien and willie griffin as well I think were on that panel.

I thought tommy was with the seniors? Iā€™ve no recollection of Griffin

John riordan played as well.

I think himself and peter harty started that game. I remember hearing a very funny story about peter harty arguing with a county board suit over his mileage and he was getting lifts to training every night :joy:
