Theyâre woeful, shipped 2-17 to Carlow yesterday. The crucial thing now is to get it into their heads that they merely need to win by 1pt or more. Taking Hollywood pots or over-indulging in fancy shit is OUT⌠Tack on the scores nice and steady, curtail mistakes and watch the discipline and youâll turn the Magpies over. Hope yeâ do it.

Lads like Hugh Bourke need to step up more. Heâs a world beater in club, but seems lost at county level. I think half forward line is his best place, rather than in the corner. Corbett still seems like the main scoring threat from play and heâs a fooking centre back
