He could play for limerick hurlers yet.
He is a fairly raw hurler but still a serious athlete and very intelligent on a pitch. But a good bit off I/C at his prime hurling.
I met him in Reardans in Cork the night they lost to Ballygunner. I can only deduce from our ten minute conversation that he is a gent and a patient man to be listening to me full as an egg chat shit for that long.
He was the performance coach for the Clare hurlers in 2023 but wasnât involved this year.
Buff sewed it into the Limerick lads there.
If the amount of backroom team members translated into pitch success then Pats would surely be senior
