Derek has it.
Thereās that softness there with some of the older Nap players towards Doon. They never begrudge them a victory afterwards and get on well with them. But the Doon victories have been few and because of this were easy to take.
Iām not so sure that softness exists with the younger players whoāve taken a good few underage bearings from Doon in the last few years. At least I hope it doesnāt exist.
I suppose if anybody was to beat us weād like it to be Doon.

I can a remember a county final we were in where he entered with his 5 minute good luck message beforehand. The captain quickly cut him off after his first sentence with " Thanks very much Billy" and started a clap for him.
