You might not be wrong. The amount of handling errors is unraleā¦ā¦even allowing for the rain. Two very nervous teams.
A poor first half all things considered, very low-scoring. It is wet which definitely doesnāt help but backs from both sides on top. Garryspillane were definitely the better team in the first 15 but left scores behind them, including the only goal chance, a tame shot from Colin Ryan straight at Quilligan.
NCW are playing Mike Mac on the edge of the square but no one really supporting him which means itās not really an option. They have very little to hit so they have to run everything and are making mistakes in the conditions.
Garryspillane have more options inside but because the NCW HB line is sitting deep, theyāre not able to hit them. John Whelan has cut out some amount of ball and they havenāt been able to get Flanagan or Teejeās young fella into the game.
NCW will be delighted to be going in 2 up having played nowhere near the best.

Garry defence parts like the Red Sea. Adam Sheehan makes a decent effort of stopping Eoin Hurleyās thunderbolt but it creeps over the line. Followed by a Bryan Nix point.
