Seems a fair ranking. Kilkenny the unquestioned number one, Limerick the unquestioned number 2 and Tipp in the middle of the pack.

Before my time but Kilkenny 92/93’ never struck me as being anything spectacular from what I’ve read and heard. By all accounts Wexford should have beaten them in 93’ and a 7 year famine followed thereafter. Albeit that only moves Tipp up one spot.
Limerick beat the bollix off that tipp team in 2018 and 2019

These things usually even themselves out with Waterford team of 2000s prob an exception not getting to a final until 2008.

Doing three in a row doesn’t prove much when the standard is woeful.
Like that Cork team of the 70’s were very ordinary too but they made hay while the rest were hopeless.
