Seems a fair ranking. Kilkenny the unquestioned number one, Limerick the unquestioned number 2 and Tipp in the middle of the pack.
Some of amount of hall of famers in that top ten.
Each of them top 10 teams are iconic
Tipp 16-19 should be much higher.
Before my time but Tipp 1987-91 would surely be worthy of a spot higher in that list.
They are exactly where they should be. Were found out far too often
Ahead of who?
2017 were beaten by a moment of Joe canning brilliance, that would have been 3 titles in 4 years.
2018-present
We’re still alive, baby
But they were beaten… Same way Limerick were unjustly beaten in 2019, if not for that we’d have the 5 in a row done now!
Before my time but Kilkenny 92/93’ never struck me as being anything spectacular from what I’ve read and heard. By all accounts Wexford should have beaten them in 93’ and a 7 year famine followed thereafter. Albeit that only moves Tipp up one spot.
Limerick beat the bollix off that tipp team in 2018 and 2019
Tipp we’re the best team in the land from
2015-17, 2018 was a very even year. The replay killed Galway in the semi final.
Limerick far ahead of the pack from
2019-now but obviously caught in 2019.
These things usually even themselves out with Waterford team of 2000s prob an exception not getting to a final until 2008.
No they weren’t
And 20. Even gave them a 10 point start last year and still bate them by half as much again
Limerick are at number 2, nobody would argue that Tipp were better but they deserve better than that
You deserve fuck all in this game.
They weren’t good enough to do back to back. Never mind a three-peat like the generational sides.
Doing three in a row doesn’t prove much when the standard is woeful.
Like that Cork team of the 70’s were very ordinary too but they made hay while the rest were hopeless.
Same thing now.
Christ, you’re some clown.
