It’s a top two. Doon will be packing the white vestments into the gear bag before they play either of us.
Hon the fucking parish!!!
Genuinely excited to see the top two play. Both teams with substantial changes from last year and both in cracking form. And neither have played their best 15 yet either I reckon.
What did we win by, 1?
Definitely looks a top 2 now
I thought yer group game vs Kilmallock was of a ridicliously high quality a few weeks back.
Both clubs are a good bit ahead of the rest bar maybe Doon.
Peter Casey this evening was sensational. David Dempsey also was very good.
Adrian Breen is some club hurler must have got 6 or 7 points
Patrickswell really were below par to be fair. Hit a rake of wides in the first half and never looked like coming back into it.
Double hurler of the year Cian Lynch is a savage loss tbf.
Massive, WOD had the freedom of the pitch there this evening
He has probably been the most prolific scoring forward for 3 or 4 out of the last 5 years in the senior championship.
Downes on the frees looks good. Peter Casey. David Dempsey. Will O’Donohue. Mike Casey. Adrian Breen. Conor Boylan.
It really is an incredible club team.
The Well without any of the 3 stars on their team are no way near contenders. They haven’t been producing as many underage players as they have in the past also, I can see them slipping back to the pack in the next few years.
Kildimo or someone from the B Group could surely take out Doon or Patrickswell?
Any team with Kyle Hayes in it has a chance.
Doon do look good this year though especially with Barry Murphy back fit.
Chawke it down. Goal.
Just the 1, Chawkie wins it at the death. Some way to win a derby.
Possibly. Tradition might get the Well over the line. You’d bate Doon with your cap sure.
The standard in munster was absolute dogshit in Munster between 87 and 91 when it was only Tipp and Cork really. Limerick, Waterford and Clare wouldn’t muster 15 between them to take on Tipp or Cork in that time plus John Denton and Offaly beaten by Antrim handed them the softest All Ireland since the GAA was formed.
