Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now šŸ

Iā€™ve done that to the bumpers and pressed-in trim work on cars Iā€™ve sold on. Great job. Heat gun works well as itā€™s much easier to control/save the paint from charring.

Are the lads who play senior still banned from U20 this year?

No, canā€™t play for both in the same week only

Very strong looking panel. Up front Limerick will be very potent.

I was really looking forward to this round robin when I thought it was just the top 2 into the Munster final. But itā€™s the top 3 qualify which takes a bit of bite away IMO.

Kilkenny beat Limerick in a challenge last week. Kilkenny without Billy Drennan.

Limerick had their seniors playing.

Another Limerick v KK final be a strong possibility. Tipp are decent without the names Limerick have.

Once we develop a few lads for senior weā€™re not bothered.

Surely Galwayā€™s minor success has to tell at U20 soon

Galway will be very strong. Won this 3 years ago, have Tiernan Kileen, Gavin Lee, Greg Thomas & Liam Collins underage.

It will be themselves or KK in Leinster.

More than twenty clubs represented there

Surely a tough one for Jimmy Quilty not getting included in U20s after being a part of a couple of pre-season Senior Panels (was excellent for Mary I after Christmas too)

He was captain last year, overage this year.

Heā€™s still with the seniors, but overage for 20s.

Played 3 years of 20s, think thatā€™s plenty :joy:

Ah apologies - I only assumed he was 18/19 years old due to playing Freshers. Limerick non-adult panels wouldnā€™t be my fortĆ©!

Cheers!

7 West Limerick and 6 East Limerick???

The West is rising

Yeah with English, SOB, POD, Lynch, Hayes, LOC, etc; you have some serious forward options. Just will be a case of getting the balance right between pure finishers & fellas who can win ball.

A little surprised Pierce Connery isnā€™t involved, would have had him as the standout player of last yearā€™s minors. Frawley, Langan, Meany & Fintan Fitz the 2005ers on the panel.

Good to see a good few players rewarded for their club form too, fellas who might not have been involved much at minor level- William Dore, Oisin Oā€™Farrell, John Fitz, Sean Murnane, Ewan Dillon, Darragh Butler, Lochlann McHale, JJ Carey, etc.

Pierce might be doing the leaving

I remember we had a coach years ago and he had a fondness for using Kilmallock as a reference point. One of the lads mentioned he couldnā€™t make a challenge game cause he was doing the Leaving. The coach roared back "Thereā€™s no fuckin Leaving Cert in Kilmallock "

@balbec has done well for himself in fairness without completing his secondary education.
