If you are going outside that team Sham Flans auld lad as well.

DODā€™s auld lad played football for Limerick as well I think.

For all the talk of academies etc. Is it really just a breeding program you need?

DOD and Aisling Thompson will take that breeding to the next level.

Tradition and Breeding are everything.

Look at the all conquering Dublin football team of the last decadeā€¦ Brogan x2, McCarthy, Rock, McCaffrey, Oā€™Callaghan etcā€¦

Dec and the Stakelums

Pity about Breen and Una Healy, we could have had the Worlds most beautiful hurler

An ounce of breeding is worth a tonne of feeding.

Wonā€™t be long now before @Cheasty starts calling us nazis.

Nicky Condon will surely be an unbelievable hurler.

Niamh Mulcahy & Gary Brennan are living in Limerick aswell afaik. If we get the Mackey hurling genes, and Brennanā€™s athleticism, thatā€™ll be some player.

The other sister married sean cronin

Kyle Hayes women is over 6ft easily. Lads we wont need pj with this breeding

And Adam English is Eamon Grimesā€™s grand nephew.

Mark Foley & Aoife Sheehan have a young lad

This discussion is going to see picking 15s taken to the next level altogether.

In an entirely non-Tom Humphreys way, letā€™s just be clear about that bit given where subject has strayed

Was talking to a fella there who was at the Limerick GAA golf event in Castletroy yesterday.

70 teams over the two days, ā‚¬1,000 per team. Apparently there was a shit load of sponsorship aswell as raffle tickets for AI tickets on top of that. He reckons they would have cleared ā‚¬100k at it.

Spike is a shrewd enough operator, making the most out of Limerickā€™s success. I imagine a similar event when we were in the doldrums would have had a much smaller uptake at those prices.
