Limerick GAA 2023 - League champions means nothing now 🐐

Dont think so. But there we’ll differ. Have a nice evening

I’d love to know the ins and outs of how many days the Limerick lads do in the gym/on the pitch training and also how their nutrition is managed in terms of if it is left mainly up to themselves outside of post match/training

It’s ok.

You’ve soiled yourself

At least Ill get up off the couch to clean myself

150k I heard was being spent a year on nutrition/ food for the entire panel. Sounds like a lot but when you break it down between 35 or so panel members and maybe 100 sessions and matches it’s not a whole lot.

Are the Limerick backroom team on the nutrition plan as well?

I’d say most counties are providing those meal kits to players now. I think @Aristotle club man has the gig for the Limerick county teams.

The Limerick lads have to down six of these a day.

Most are.

I’d imagine limerick have a panel of lads who just look after themselves supremely well.

Look at the shape Quaid is in.

The attention to detail now is just something else. Nothing is left to chance or overlooked. You wouldn’t have a repeat now of what happened after the 1979 All Ireland Final when Fan Larkin was scrambling around in the dressing room trying to figure out where he could catch evening mass.

They are great for looking after themselves when the squad breaks up.

Cian Lynch is a mass goer I believe. The advent of plentiful Saturday masses should help him avoid such a situation in an All-Ireland final though.

I’m looking forward to Joe Canning’s next fawning article about this great Limerick team.

We’d have savage respect for Joe and that is clearly reciprocated.

Are they the balls from all the teams they’ve castrated?

Remember back in 2020 when the first lockdown came and The Big House arranged a package be delivered to each players home containing 1x Dumbell, 1 Kettlebell and a Skipping Rope and 6 months later they rocked on to the Winter blitz looking like Justin Gatlin in Athens 2004 :grinning:

Some would call them boring etc but winners see the bigger prize I suppose.

Apparently poor Pat was just out with his brother who is/was close to his stag/wedding? As a local told me, he shouldn’t have been out in such a popular spot but tis done now etc.

Heard Ciaran Carey gave a talk in Doon Gaa club on drink & substance abuse and Pat was front & centre in attendance. Fair play if true considering what had gone before

Tipp lads got an extra layer of tin foil

Coach Kiely possibly had them stopping off for first Mass in Tipp Town yesterday morning when @peddlerscross stumbled on them.

We have subsumed the abbey into greater Limerick. The footballers have stopping there as well.

H’on Tipp town

Pat will be back next year.

And the Tipp lads spent the time riding their sisters
