Darach has issues with Limerick. He was the same on the incredibly boring podcast heā€™s on (where he was given free reign as there was no Limerick panelist).

Brendan Cummins highlighted the Clare dirt.

Jealous because he had no JP to pay for his granny hips.

JP is going to write to all these counties chirping now and demand they return the hush money he gave them.

Cummins was about say how often Shane o donnell was fouled but before he could finish the Dow cut across him to say how many fouls O Donnell made ā€¦

Tbf, Dowling has no business being involved in Limerick analysis as he is unashamedly biased.

There are plenty of pundits from uninvolved Counties to pick from within RTE

Heā€™s doing the football this year alright, I think Mint Catering do the hurling afaik.

I see he is writing a weekly preview and is on their Podcast but I Canā€™t see him lasting in the role.

Once the contract runs out theyā€™ll wait to get someone from Limerick that picks and chooses an occasional bias, TJ Ryan is of a similar ilk.

Paul Browne and Jim Bob Ryan are not big names but knows their stuff any time I heard them on OTB.

I think Dowling is probably better on the daytime programme than the evening. But the evening has gone to shit altogether now.

Dowling was always a big name, and a media favourite. I wouldnā€™t be surprised for him to be kept on tbh, regardless of whether heā€™s the best analyst from Limerick.

I think the Dow is as good as their is tbh

Heā€™s a parody of himself at this stage.

There has to be a Limerick pundit but heā€™s terribly annoying.

Your probably talking another 2/3 years before Hannon or Nickie Quaid take over which is depressing. Hopefully RTE find an alternative.

Sure Donal Og has been pushing his agenda. Having someone push back against is part of rtes mandate.

Iā€™m pretty certain that the Limerick Senior Hurlers do not have meals or ā€˜meal packagesā€™ cooked and delivered to them.

Regards the gym, most players are 5 or 6 nights a week during the winter/off season and 3 nights a week to maintain during the season. Itā€™s self driven within the group. As in, this is off their own bat and is the culture that has grown in the group. If you canā€™t keep up with it, then itā€™s not for you.

You either want to be the greatest side of all time or you want to be just another run of the mill team that won an oul All Ireland here and there

I wasnā€™t sleeping with worry about this crucial question

Itā€™s been answered by the big dog, off with you now

The same lads harping on about Limerick getting away with stuff now donā€™t like it highlighted

Steroids, money, sponsored cars, winter blitzes, round robins, nutrition, refereeingā€¦ Theyā€™re throwing out and clinging to everything and anything. Meanwhile Limerick just keep beating teams, on the field and down the tunnel.

No sign of Aaron Fitzgerald on Sunday. Obviously still suffering the after effects of the Hegarty incident
