Anyone able to answer me this - Why do St Fanahan’s camogie club have players playing with Limerick when they play in the Cork Championship? Are they the camogie club for Mithchelstown?

Don’t know the situation but who are the players?

Same situation would have occured with Milford when they were going well.

Not sure on this one but in the past the dearth of camogie clubs sometimes meant that county boundaries were not of prime importance. I recall our girls playing agaist Ballyagran in a game and they had 5 or 6 from Charleville as they didnt have a local team at the time. The nearest Limerick camogie clubs to Mitchelstown would be Galbally or Effin/Blackrock. Id guess that the girls in question might be from Galtee Gaels area in football and its easier for them to play camogie with Mitchelstown.

Is Anna Geary a Limerick woman?

No.
I sat near her at a Limerick v Clare game. She wasnt supporting Limerick

I had heard she was more Drom side than Milford side. Not that I’d be claiming her

The home place is on the Limerick side of the border.

The side group revealed this years ago

Fixed that for you.

The Side Group is a Valerie Wheeler only group

Is there photos of her in the nip on there?

The reason that is first is the semi finalists are seeded. They were drawn 1-4. Ahane and Ballybrown were drawn as 5 and 6. The fixture order is 1v2, 3v4, 5v6. So thats why it keeps happening. Up to clubs to push to change it but ive a feeling they wouldnt be listened to.

I got there eventually. Seems ridiculous.

RTÉ GAA on X: “RTÉ sought Cork-Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League as our match selection a number of months ago but the counties could not accommodate. RTÉ subsequently chose Armagh-Tyrone.” / X

Apparently Cork County Board said no to having it on the tv this weekend.

Can you still buy matches on the Limerick GAA website?
Or is that all gone also?

A few lads that we could do with seeing on Saturday.

Eddie Stokes, POD, Hugh Flanagan, Hurley should all see game time.
