Anyone buy the ā¬150 ticket?
I got two just out of pity for them.
Tis like helping the Ethiopians
No wonder thereās loads of concerts in PUC. Bob Geldof is leading the next one I hear.
Go easy on the Cork lads today
Cork playing an experimental team and the Limerick lads playing possum ffs
The outcome of this one will define a decade
No Limericks on the train from Portlaoise. Cork by 12
Train emptier leaving Junction than arriving into it, we are fucked.
The young fella bought a few cdās in Golden discs in Patrick Street. The green pound. Itās electric here.
Cork colours out in big numbers since early today.
They havenāt sold a CD in there since 2017, fair play
Live95 commentator is one boring fucker.
Christ well that was rigged.
Can we not petition to get that bitter Clare muppet not be on limerick games, especially against Cork
Sean stack oh my god
We did okay last night. I was kinda expecting a loss due to extreme rustiness + Cork looked decent enough against (an admittedly weak) Wexford.
And we started poorly, a lot of poor execution of passes, a lot of dropped balls, conditions obviously didnāt help for either side.
But we grew into it, things started to stick a little bit more. And maybe Cork started to make some poor decisions of their own, hit a lot of aimless ball into their forwards.
Of the things being tried: biggest positive by a mile had to be Barry Murphy. For his first ever outing as a corner-back against forwards that caused us some serious problems last year, he did really really well. He reads the game excellently, we always knew that but he attacked everything, he was diligent in his defensive duties. For a specialist position, I was absolutely delighted with that.
POD probably the other one. Wasnāt even on the extended panel last year but he grew into the game and picked off a few very nice points and got his work in too. Was surprised he was taken off tbh when a few others were struggling and he was going well.
Not a night for Adam, things just didnāt go his way. Was disappointed with AOCās decision-making. Coughlan didnāt go great in the first half but had a good second half. DOD2 really struggled against NOL. SOB is a handful but probably didnāt get enough ball.
Jason did well in goal too. Probably couldnāt have asked for much more from him than that.
Kyle, Dan & WOD were best for us other than those already mentioned. Reidy was very good when he came on for Hego. Iām still concerned that Kyle will end up plugging a gap at 6 but weāll still need someone of his profile in the HF/MF area and I just donāt see who that is.
Worries would be the injuries: two hamstring injuries on your first day out is an absolute disaster. Especially Finn who has been struggling with his hamstring for the past while. Hegoās hand split open too, hopefully not too bad. Also think Murphy might have been struggling at the end - another player who is barely held together, really disappointing if heās hurt after such a good performance.
First day out in the league - result doesnāt really matter; hopefully try a few more things next week. Be interesting to see how they split the goalie time across the league: will it be even or is it a case of Jason has the jersey and the others may get a game?
Did Finn actually pull up with it just before half time? Hopefully it was more out of caution instead of a tear. He did it twice last year also. A real shame as he needs the game time.
Hego needs stitches in hand according to Kiely.
WOD hamstring also
Looks like itās Jasonās to loose after that performance last night.
Hitting those long range frees over keeps the other lad at armās reach.
I donāt think he missed one, did he?
No 2/2. Some belt of a ball. Gives another option.
