Thought Cian Lynch would be rested

Jason Gillane is a quiet man

Conor Boylan is some addition to a team for the league. Dempseys, Lynch, Downes, Henn all playing too. John Fitz hit 1-5 from play according to NaP twitter.

The Well down the county boys incl. young Murray, Jack Kelliher, Jordan Higgins, John Kirby.

Sticking with CON wing forward.

Didn’t think Mike Casey would be selected.
Thought you can’t play for a few weeks after concussion?

He wasn’t concussed, he always looks like that

Do you really want to go down this road?

We are fairly depleted with injuries and Kiely likes to not disclose them.

Still a decent team named. WOD likely be the c’ship 6 if Kyle unavailable.

Has Dan Morrissey only played 1 game this year?

Like all Clare lads.

@Raylan two and counting.

Darragh ó donovan ór hannon hardly make championship now. What’s Hayes and Dan Morrissey injuries?

It’s gone. It was nice while it lasted but it’s gives the “lesser” counties a chance.

Don’t be trying to crawl back into the long grass. It’s Limerick Vs Cork all day long. That could go either way.

MY RATINGS

Dowling (7) - two excellent first half stops including one outrageous one. Mixed luck on the puckout front. Went more short than long. Needed better options for the long ones.

Finn (7) - Did ok without being spectacular.

Casey (6) - given the run around by TJ in the first half.

Nash (6) - came into game in second half but his direct opponent notched 0-7 which is worrying.

Coughlan (7) - One of Limerick’s better performers. Used the ball reasonably well and got the better of Billy Ryan.

O’Donoghue (7) - Was busy putting out fires all over the gaff for the first thirty five. Grew into it in second half.

Hurley (5) - Good opening point, but was given the runaround by Donnelly and Mackessy in the first half. Didn’t show any great improvement after half time.

English (6) - Showed his usual energy but was often crowded out of it by receiving short ball in hopeless situations.

Lynch (6) - Read for English.

O’Neill (6) - Was going reasonably well until injury curtailed his day.

Reidy (6) - Only really came into it in the second half. Did a reasonable job on the frees, bar one very poor effort in first half.

Morrissey (6) - Looked off it early on but came more into it second half. Still not 100% and his late return to the squad is showing.

O’Brien (5) Got very little service as the outfield players seemed content to play ‘keep ball’ around midfield.

Flanagan (5) - A mile off his best, his touch deserted him time and time again.

O’Connor (7) - Got stuck in and won some dirty ball. Two nice points. Will be very close to starting come championship.

SUBS:

O’Donovan (7) - Got one good point and scrapped well. A good option as an impact sub. Will need to bulk up a bit yet.

Ó Dálaigh (5) - An early second half point but didn’t impact the game after that.

Stokes, Houlihan, O’Farrell - not on long enough to rate
