Limerick GAA 2024-25

If ever a single image encapsulated the essence of “Corkness,” this would be it. Two Cark wankers, each bearing cheesy vacant grins and glazed expressions, embodying the tragic absurdity. You can almost smell the stench of neglect dripping off Cyril. Even in silence, the shrill echoes of their clown like Cork accents seem to linger in the air.

Probably just as well that Nicky Quaid will be back for championship, the sub keeper could end up facing some awkward questions about his time in Mary I

He never paid his gym fee, that much I know.

Tour withdrew from Junior B hurling, insufficient playing numbers. Some tasty local derbies in both hurling and football.

Kiely says it’s a toss of a coin between the two boyos.

You could nearly bet the farm that Adare will also pull out and it’ll be a single group of six.

Has to be the Dow.

“All told we’re in a good state. We have plenty of players that we can use.”

Most important line there. Could have easily put on the poor mouth about dealing with a lot of injuries. I suspect we are close to full strength.

A high probability.

Comes down to who is less likely to cause a scene if he isn’t selected.

You won’t will All Irelands that way kid.

Fair point. Whos non selection is less likely to cause other players to walk out?

The Dow will stick it out.
He fucking loves it….

You reckon he wont get selected as well?

He started more league games.
He must be favourite.

This is what I would start with if everyone but Quaid is available:

Dowling

Finn
Morrissey
Murphy

Byrnes
Hayes
Nash

O Donoghue
O Donovan

Hego
Lynch
O’Neill

Gillane
O’Brien

I think I’d lean towards the same if all available and match fit, some lads could be a bit short of playing the full 70 though.

If that team started it would leave Mike Casey, Hannon, Coughlan, Reidy, Tom, Aidan O Connor, Flanagan and possibly P. Casey as impact options.
