Limerick GAA 2026. The GOAT's?

I see 8 minutes additional time🫨… big injury or just playing for the draw…?

The pitch was in some condition in Feenagh today, mad how there isn’t more games there.

Kilmallock 3-08 to Ballybrown 0-10 HT. Two goals for Gearoid Enright and one for the Bull. The bull got sent off after an incident just before HT. Aidan O’Connor not playing. Kilmallock have the breeze in the second half. We struggled with the sweeper for a while but once you run at these cunts they’re not up to much.

Final score 5-17 to 0-19. We were only toying with them really.

Is twitter still active?

Ye’ll burn yerselves out at the rate ye’re going.

They said that after the first two games. Ballybrown are at nothing without Aido. At least we avoided relegation, everything else is a bonus.

Jimmy Quilty was down for five minutes after a bone cruncher of a shoulder from Seamus Hickey. Rockies fans on the sideline were hopping but it seemed a hard but fair shoulder. Croagh’s Jack Lenihan was also down for 90 odd seconds. Either team could have won it. The Rockies equalised with a free in the 8th minute of added time. Sexton let the play go on from the puckout and Blackrock had another chance from a long range shot but it drifted narrowly wide. Croagh created 5 goal chances and took 2. A draw was about the right result.

The shoulder was right in front of me and I have to say I thought it was perfectly timed. Croagh certainly had the better of the goal chances but draw was probably fair

Claughaun off the mark in the Junior with a 1-21 to 1-13 win over the Bouncers.

It was a textbook shoulder - hard but fair. It wasn’t high or to the chest. Hickey timed it perfectly. Really thought when Jack Lenihan stuck the second goal, that’s we’d motor on and win by a few points. But then proceeded to hit some brutal wides. Quilty going in the full line caused us problems - set up the goal, scored points and was fouled more than once.

Doon will be in deep shit if/when Na Piarsaigh beat them this week. Winners of Monaleen and Ballybrown will be good for a QF place.

Disappointing to see no double headers fixed for the Gaelic Grounds in this block of two rounds

Surely Patrickswell Adare and NaP Doon would bring in a sizeable crowd and plenty of neutral watchers

You’d probably fancy them to beat Ahane?

Nothing like a shock defeat to focus the mind.

Ballybrownn will find it hard without Aido, they were in a very strong position after the win over Ahane.

I see Croom are really struggling this year in Prem. Junior. They seem to be on a real downward spiral. What has happened with them? Are they performing at underage?
I remember seeing them playing senior hurling in 2012/13. Some great hurlers coming out of there, Lucey, Peter Lawlor, M O’Riordan.

Croom have been at nothing for a long time. They were senior hurling and a solid intermediate football team in the early 00s but largely been stuck in a rut since. They’ve had various mixes of underage amalgamations to field teams, mainly under the Tory Gaels banner (which is themselves and Crecora I think). They are in the minor B football final.

Between 00 and 14 they must have nearly had ten lads play senior hurling for limerick at some point?

Lucey
Lawlor
Cahill by 2?
There was a doctor hugh flavin wasn’t it?
Mark o Riordan
Conor allis

Probably one or two more lads I forgot about.

Sure like most country clubs, it comes in waves and they are currently on a downturn. Plenty of building and economic activity in the village so they’ll probably get another strong period in the next 10/15 years. That’s how it rolls

On paper you’d fancy them but they are not playing great apart from the first game. Seem to be heavily relying on Adam English. (As Ahane are with Tom of course).
