Who had the role before Barry?

His da

Bar Barry Nash. He’s really not suited to it.

Mike?

Five Fr Caseys players in starting fifteen for Tin Tin cup.

It’s not a bad team & decent options on the bench. Big kickout targets probably remain the issue.

Childs is a massive absentee. And Rigter.

Their loss has basically sunk their season unfortunately

Serious issue, especially the way the game has gone.

With clever movement, a good kickout plan and an accurate keeper, you can still get a lot of kickouts away in a match and I’m sure they’ll have been working on that a huge amount.

But opposition are also working on way to pick those off and there pretty much always comes a time in a match where there are no obvious options, the other team go full press and you just have to lump it long.

And having a dominant fielder is a massive asset when it comes to that. At any level.

They won’t fear Wexford anyway at least.

Get a win and a bit of momentum and who knows

It’s their year

Jimmy needs to put the ego in the bin and get on the phone to Hughie Bourke and Rigter. The core group of players don’t have many years left in the tank so everything should have been done to try go one step further in the Tailteann this year. I wonder how many other counties are playing without 2 of the best forwards in the county

Is Rigter not injury plagued this year?

They made him play through injury early in the league which set him back completely and led to him taking a step back from the panel to get right. Had they managed him properly early in the league he’d be flying now

I called in to The Cellar Bar on my way home from my beloved Dingle last weekend and you could really sense the optimism that this year feels different.

He couldn’t have a worse attitude if he tried, Jimmy got sick of plamasing him

Superb performance from the minors tonight. Great to be back in a Munster Final, considering we haven’t had a great run at this level in the past couple of years; 2023 was probably the last very strong minor team we had and they didn’t have a good year at 20s this year.

They’ve played well in every game so far but maybe in patches and that was definitely the most complete performance.

A really strong start, dominated the Cork puckout from the off, work rate was through the roof. They left some scores behind them of course but, in general, a really good display.

Rowan Collins had a tough day the last day out with all the space in front of the Tipp forwards but he was brilliant tonight in the full-back line.

Kept our shape really well; half-back line have been excellent all year long and they were dominant again tonight. Ryan hurled a lot more ball tonight which was good to see. Hennessy & O’Riordan were up & down all night.

Xavier Neligan in midfield was probably the pick of the bench. For a little fella, he tackles extremely hard, covers some amount of ground and was rewarded with a goal in the second half. Roche alongside him is a very clever player, still U-16 too, composure far beyond his years.

Crowe & Foley allow us to compete on puckouts but they also 0-5 from play between them in the first half, there was an obvious instruction to get more shots off. Both are great options in the air and on rucks. Thought Waters was relatively quiet in the first half but he powered into it in the second half, he’s a lovely shooter tbf to him.

O’Sullivan is a tiny bit greedy, often the case with underage forwards. He does have a lot of ability though, makes it stick and had their full-back line on the back foot. He’ll give someone a roasting before the year is over. The other two inside got scores but were maybe horsed out of it a couple of times aswell. Horgan looked very lively when he came on.

Another crack off Tipp in the Munster Final, nothing to fear there. They are very lively but I think we have more in us than we showed last week.
