Ah here your going around in circles and up your own hole.
Flanagan played well all year its only since the Clare game that he has hit a dip in form. Followed by the U21 game followed by the Carlow match where he wasnât the worst.
We are playing a game with very few high scoring forwards.
Hegarty and Hayes for all their hard work wont rack up scores.
We will need a full forward on the top of his game and scoring 1-2 from play minimum if we want to win.
I am just pointing out that other lads havenât had the game time that some players have had and certainly players like Colin Ryan have been discarded after less than 2 mediocre games. Pat Ryan is also hard done by i think with Peter Casey now more than likely by passing him.
We are at the business end. We need to hit the ground running and cant be waiting for lads to play themselves into a game.
Yet weâve racked up massive totals all season bar the clare game. You are talking rubbish. Flanagan played well in all the big games this year bar the clare game. The Carlow game is a complete irreverence to anything. Only fellas from nap and other fools would be changing up a team based on the performances against Carlow.
I wonder what games we are allowed use to judge form? Tipp game a decent performance against what was shown up to be a malfunctioning/mediocre team. Waterford when they were fucked. Cork on their third week out. Clare on our own third week out. Hmm.
Flanaganâs two best games were against an update fit Galway and Cork where he was marked by cahalane who has been cleaned by everyone.
I can see the sense in starting him full forward him if he plays very deep with Dowling to come in with 20 to go.
seamus got a point against waterford, a point against tipp, 6 against cork, I think a point v Clare and a point v Carlow. Itâs not like we werenât creating scoring chances any of the daysâŚ
as you said we put up massive scores.
Lads have been dropped for less is all we are saying
Are you ignoring the U21 gane as well?
He is a decent prospect but he is a kid and dips in form are to be expected. He will be marked by one of the best hurlers in the country in Padraig Walsh so I hope he is in the form of his life if Limerick are to win
Remarkable comment coming from the fella that said mike Casey would be starting for limerick for many years to come based on his performances against this cork and tipp teams you just dismissed. Youâve wanted Daragh o donovan dropped, Declan Hannon dropped, Diarmaid bynres dropped and now your floating the idea of dropping seamus Flanagan. You havenât a notion about hurling.
