Highlight of that half was the lovely cynical foul by Kyle Hayes when Tipp had a sniff of a goal chance. For good measure Darragh Fanning came in and clobbered the cunt too.
Pleasing half but we still look a bit ropey at the back. We’ve played more intelligent passes into or around the forward line than we have in about the last four years at senior level.
Stiff breeze against us in the second half but we look solid enough. Look like scoring every time we attack. Tipp 12 impressive, Josh Adams in trouble on that wing.

Ronan Lynch playing the Diarmuid Byrnes role… lashing it over from wing back. That’ll get him on the senior team. Where he’ll lash it high. And long. And wide.
Look great when you’re winning and they go over, soul destroying when you are losing and they fly twenty yards wide.

Put this management over the seniors asap
Missed the match but well done to limerick.
You’d wonder though how it always evolves that this Tipp team will beat the same Limerick team handily when there’re all senior.
What happens in between. Is it psychology? Shouldn’t be sure Limerick don’t fear Tipp ? Or is that only at senior level.
Lynch has to stay in midfield at this grade, he can expose gaps and pick out players at a whim. Half back line may need to be rethought.

What’s going wrong with Tipperary hurling this year
Twas yea. But there were a few concerning passages in both halves where we went to sleep. Tipp hit some bad wides during those periods.
Having said all that they were never that stretched and up it when needed.
We haven’t got rid of the last great 21’s management team yet 
Any day you beat Tipp is a good day, no matter how shit they are. We never feared them and we never will

Are you for real? Genuinely is a far worse problem with drinking in Tipp than Limerick in and around the Senior panels. And worse in Clare too for that matter.
The Limerick players drink fuck all to be honest. God be with the days of Lawlor, Lucey, Eoin Foley and Mark Keane…
