If there’s one thing us admins can’t abide it’s schadenfreude:

God bless you, sir and congratulations on your victory today. It was within our grasp but the nous to execute it was absent.

That’s some top, top admin work… It was just another spam bot - Hopefully he learns the same valuable lesson I did during my recent hiatus

Thanks. I expected us to be spirited and determined to atone for the Carlow game (we were) but I thought Limerick would expose our limitations (you did) and in doing so take enough chances to beat us (you didn’t).

he was harmelss

Schadenfreude is a great reason for banning someone.

@Bandage I agree with the above. I assume your high standards in this regard don’t just apply to threads and sports that might interest you?

Top top admin work. Looking forward to the schadenfreude and spamming bannings on the rugby threads :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Many thanks for your feedback, @gilgamboa. I’ll certainly be keeping a close eye out for anybody goading other posters and displaying schadenfreude after any Munster, Leinster, Connacht, Ulster, Ireland or Black & Tan Lions victories. They’ll be dealt with in the same firm and swift manner as @upleitrim.

Watched the 21s match back.

Gillane was very good, work rate was superb. The work rate of our forward was, in general, excellent but he was probably the pick of the bunch in that regard. Casey really grew into the game as it opened up, his first touch is superb. Boylan did very well when he came on too.

I thought Lynch was very marginalised at wing-forward, think he did more when he moved to midfield. I think switching him and Malachy would be a good move. Hanley isn’t a spectacular hurler by any means but he gets through some amount of work. Runs and runs and runs, and puts in hits and makes himself available. Great attitude and a vital cog, I reckon.

I heard some people say that they thought our full-back line was under pressure. No signs of that when I watched it back. Tipp offered nothing, they didn’t give their forwards any good ball and they handled what they did put in pretty well. It is potentially our weakest line but they’ll be tested a lot more than that.

The number 5 for Tipp, Byrne, committed about 4 yellow card offences. No idea how he wasn’t sent off.

Did you see him with the shoulder shrugs and the hands out and the incredulity after a few of his “challenges”?!!! Gas man.

Kilkenny In Nolan park

Forward, the Light Brigade!"
Was there a man dismay’d?
Not tho’ the soldier knew
Someone had blunder’d:
Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die:
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred

By my reckoning, the last time we played Nowlan Park was a league game in 2007. We were hammered.

We will finish Cody Saturday night.
