Pity if he canāt commit but canāt blame him, itās a real shame how far the footballers have fallen. Of the best twenty footballers in the county Iād say only about three or four of them are on the panel at the moment between those on the hurling panel, retired, not able or unwilling to commit etc.
Fair play to the lads there at the moment doing their best but some of these lads arenāt able for intercounty football at all. Their own club mates would admit that.
Would like to think Iāve an ok knowledge of the club scene and I honestly didnāt know a few of the lads named on the panel a few weeks back.
