Griffins Coaches Intermediate Football Championship Final (2nd half,48 min) Galbally 2-8 St Senans 3-7 #gaa
Senans 3-9 Galbally 2-8 58 mins
The Galbally lads will be happy to get this close. If they went Senior they’d have some bullshitter taking over next year telling them to stay off the beer and training once a week. They will be happy to stay down and to meet up once a month to kick bit of ball and go to th epub every other night.
Just back from a drenched Mick Neville Park.
Was late in, missed the first score of the game - a Galbally goal. It was one way traffic up to half time as the Saints marched on imperiously with what looked like an unassailable lead.
Predictably Senans almost imploded on the resumption. Galbally owned the ball for large parts of the half, had it down to two points with 7 or 8 minutes left as the momentum was with them. Senans just about got over the line with a late salvo of 1-02 on the breakaway, their only scores of the half.
Decent game of ball overall. It’ll be a double disaster for Garryspillane if Jim Bob is ruled out of the premier intermediate hurling final.
Ref tonight had a very annoying habit of blowing for a free and then blowing it again another three or four times. Did it all game long.
Jim bob looked banjaxed with his hamstring.
Senans are windy out and don’t have any midfield
Ref had his father on sideline to mind him.
A good day in thurles I heard. The groom had a decent game
He married well.
Were you on the car park side? Galbally lad lucky not to get the line at the start of the second half for kicking out at a Senans chap. A yellow was generous.
No. Was on far side. He should have a red for it alright.
Glenroe giving Team G/B a bit of a pasting in the intermediate semi final.
Looks a right thumping. What’s going on?
Big comeback falls just short for Team G/B. Glenroe win 2-19 to 3-14.
Good to see the club team beating the divisional team. Glenroe be hard to beat in the final.
South boys hooray!
Glenroe led by 16 points coming up to half time. G/B grabbed a goal to leave 13 in it at the break.
All over them in the second half and could have nicked it apparently. Brave, gutsy comeback falls just short.
I’m off gettting drunk at a wedding reception up the country now.
He’ll have to get someone else to join up with ye next year
Mungret in minor and u14 finals in both hurling and football. U16 football semi yet to come.
Moving on
