I didnāt ever say that we had the best team in the country but we have had potentially great panels capable of challenging the top teams. Only a fucking idiot would deny that.
With regard to dictators, I did quite clearly say that a dictator that had the right vision for Limerick was what was necessary, not what we have now.
So when you said āto make the gradeā you meant competing? FFSā¦ you and your kind with that type of mentality is what is wrong with Limerick GAA. You should be ashamed mate.
First things, first. Iām not and never will be your āmateā.
Making the grade is a start surely. Being competitive has to start somewhere. The more good games our lads get the better they will become. Our goal has to be to have a good run at the league and get out of where we are. Our fine hurlers can then express themselves against the best in the country and given the chance they can do that with aplomb.
āyou and your kind with that type of mentality is what is wrong with Limerick GAAā. Me and āmy kindā are most certainly not what is wrong with Limerick GAA and if we had more of us we wouldnāt be a plaything for the rich and influential who have used Limerick GAA as a plaything for years.
āThe expenses of Donal Ćg Cusack, a member of the senior hurling backroom team this year, were paid by supporters body Club Clare.ā
Interesting.
Not sure people would be happy to pay their subs for the year, contribute to the golf classics etc to know that it was going into the pocket of an outside coach.

Not sure about injuries at the minute but would think the team will be something like that for Saturday.
LIMERICK: Nickie Quaid; Seanie OāBrien, Richie McCarthy, Mike Casey; Diarmaid Byrnes, Seamus Hickey, Declan Hannon; John Fitzgibbon, Gavin OāMahony; Gearoid Hegarty, Alan Dempsey, David Dempsey; Seanie Tobin, Tom Morrissey, Graeme Mulcahy
Subs: Kyle Hayes for David Dempsey (h-t), Colin Ryan for Tom Morrissey (43mins), Pat Ryan for Gavin OāMahony (49mins), Aaron Gillane for Seanie Tobin (54mins), Richie English for Richie McCarthy (65mins).
Almost impossible to predict a team for Saturday, as I have no idea about injuries or anything and thereās always a few unusual calls at this time of year. Look at last year- We had Seanie OāBrien in the corner who was barely seen for the rest of the season; Fitzgibbon & Gavin in midfield; Alan Dempsey at centre-forward, Tobin in the corner. Didnāt realise that Gillane got a run either.
